| Jun 1 2024 | Multimedia Xpert 2.8 has been released. The interface of ffmpeg was changed a bit in the latest versions, which required an adjustment in MMX. Now the latest versions work too. | May 26 2024 | Mighty Desktop Version 2.2 has been completed and is available in the Download area. It has a few new functions such as testing a drive to see whether it can really hold the amount of bytes written to it. There are now malicious fake hard disks and fake USB sticks on the market, where you may only realize later that you have been cheated. Then there are a few smaller useful functions in various places. And, as always, a number of smaller improvements and bug fixes. | May 19 2024 | Atlas Subtitler got some bug fixes in the brand new version 5.1 and also the new possibility to download subtitles from SubDL.com. This replaces the server subscene.com which closed its service to customers two weeks ago (good timing right?). Sadly now our work for accessing subtitles there was for nothing. | Apr 21 2024 | Atlas Subtitler was updated to be the Ultimate Subtitle Downloader. In Version 5.0 download possibilities from 4 more servers were incorporated which means that now all servers with a minimal amount of subtitles on this planet can be queried. The configuration for the query process was largely enhanced: Query order, timings and other values can now be tweaked manually to get best results from all the servers. In addition the amount of supported subtitle languages was extended from 70 to 125. For RemoteSubz™ the turnaround time of one run is now displayed and the Dreambox dialog works also for all newer models. And as always many more improvements and bugfixes were done. RemoteSubz now waits for 5 seconds until it starts at the Subtitler startup which makes the program quicker responding. A few new features have been added, especially a much faster spell checker that can be turned on in the context menu, and a personal word list per language that can be used by all Atlas apps. | Feb 09 2022 | Multimedia Xpert Concat: There was an improvment at the command that it used by Multimedia Xpert to concat multiple videos. It will increase the ability to concat videos of slightly different SAR values (aspect ratio, the ration of width to height). It will solve error messages like "Input link in0:v0 parameters (size 1280x720, SAR 9:8) do not match the corresponding output link in0:v0 parameters (1280x720, SAR 5751:5120)". The scale is the same but the SAR value is slightly different. An update is not necessary, the improvement will automatically be downloaded from the Atlas Server and available to all users after at most 24 hours from now. |

Overwrite mode can now be set to 'Elsewhere' and 'Skip' and there are new buttons for exporting and importing all settings, making it easier to transfer them to another computer. | Jan 10 2020 | The online parameters of Multimedia Xpert have been adjusted so that the format query now returns correct values even for large 4K movies. Online parameters are automatically obtained by Atlas programs from the Atlas server with each license query (more information here). |

| Mai 12 2016 | Atlas Subtitler Version 2.0 is online now. It contains a lot of new and useful features and some corrections. One big theme was the analysis and preparation of the subtitle files for a certain video player. As a second a new method to determine the time difference for shifting was added which is much quicker and easier than the previous one. This was only possible after the subtitles are structurally read and interpreted. Many folks will also be glad that it's now possible to do multiple copy/move operations in the background. The priority is choosable and you can download other subtitles from the servers at the same time. The new integration in Windows Explorer allows a new, more direct way to start up Subtitler by right clicking on a video or folder. Additionally there were more useful things added like new functions in the menus, renames of the files and searching for defects in the video. Also a practical thing is that the search for subtitles by hash and title can now be done in just one single step. And you can also see the list of available subtitle files and choose manually which one should be downloaded. And there are more goodies. The jump to version 2 is therefore greatly justified (you could also call it 3 according to Microsoft's counting scheme (:-)). |

Im Moment gibt es noch zwei Probleme: Einerseits sind die Downloads nicht funktionstüchtig, andererseits ist der direkte Zugang zur EasyBill-Seite per Adresse "www.easybill.ch" bisher aufgrund eines technischen Problems noch nicht freigeschaltet worden. Die Probleme werden baldmöglichst behoben. |
